When Roman Abramovich bought Chelsea, in many ways he changed English football forever. Chelsea, under his ownership have achieved greatness previously unheard of in their history, amassing trophies and worldwide recognition. However this has come at a cost, as Chelsea fan Aidan Sweeney attests as he shares the 5 worst decisions that Roman Abramovich ever made.
There have been numerous disastrous decisions made by Abramovich and the Chelsea board during the past few years, we all know that and here are my top five.
5. Letting Michael Ballack leave.
At the end of Ancelotti’s double winning first season in charge, Chelsea made the decision to let Michael Ballack leave on a free.
