One of life’s irritations for old 40Something codger’s like us (and probably you) is having any football match visually scarred by players wearing fluorescent slippers…
They seem to be designed to annoy and in an age when tape round socks has to match the kit why is it that these vivid flashes of colour go unlegislated?
But there is hope.
I sense that the days of the lemon and lime and satsuma playing soccer ‘shoe’ might be over…
